Coming to SUP?

Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) is a relaxed and laid-back activity, and people of all skill levels are welcome! Under the guidance of a professional, anyone can learn the correct techniques and enjoy paddleboarding. Starting SUP doesn't require much preparation, but we've gathered a few tips here that are good to consider before coming to SUP.

Clothing

Dress according to the weather with suitable sportswear. Since we will be on the water, getting wet is possible, but not likely. It’s a good idea to bring extra clothes and a towel with you.

Footwear

We go paddleboarding barefoot. However, if you’re prone to cold toes and have neoprene shoes or other light, water-appropriate footwear, feel free to bring them along.

Protection from the weather

On hot days, remember to protect yourself with sunscreen and a hat. Also, bring a water bottle. Summer in Finland also means mosquitoes, so it’s a good idea to protect yourself from them, especially on evening trips.

All our sessions are subject to weather conditions. A light summer rain won’t affect the pace, but if the wind is strong or there is a thunderstorm, we will not go on the water. If we need to cancel a session due to weather conditions, we will notify all participants.
